Born in Riverview, NB, under the watchful eye of his mother and grandfather. He is a graduate of Riverview High School (Class of 1999) as well as New Brunswick Community College where he temporarily pursued a career in the culinary arts. Nick’s fascination with photography was a hobby that began on a grad class trip to New York City and ended 7 short days later due to a mishap with 12 rolls of film. 5 long years later, Nick returned to photography. This time with a vengeance.

Upon entering his career as a photographer, Nick worked mostly with animals and nature. It was not until 2007 that he would dive into the world of portrait photography. Nick’s initial experience with portraits came from humble beginnings in a make-shift studio in his living room. As time progressed, he felt stifled by the generic “black background” and began searching for creative alternatives. Nick’s searching would soon lead him to new and exciting locations to work in. In the summer of 2008, Nick quit his job to pursue his passion full-time. Thus, commences Nick’s fascination with “concept photography”.

In spite of it all, Nick continues to blaze his own path within the world of photography. He refuses to admit to conformity and continues to push boundaries. Moreover, Nick’s style has been defined as “Moment” in that no one truly knows what is to come next. To date, Nick has put on three major exhibitions that include 111 FACEs and The Red Sheet Collection; however, he views his key accomplishment as being the 1111 FACEs project.
